🧣 Help us gather coats, blankets, and scarves for our neighbors this winter! From November 9–23, Central is collecting new or gently used coats, blankets, and scarves to support Channing’s Coat Closet, a community-focused effort led by Margaret Dabbs’ great nephew who’s been giving back since age 4.

Drop off donations in the collection boxes located in the narthex, church office, or downstairs. Let’s spread warmth and kindness this season!

What does it mean to be an attractional and a missional church? 💭 These questions guided our combined Sunday School Class this past Sunday as we explored how to serve God and our neighbors together. We’ll meet again on Sunday, December 7, for a short devotion and hands-on project. We hope to have you join us next month!

💛 On the first Saturday of every month, Central partners with Esther’s Heart for Transformation Ministry to share meals, clothing, and care with our neighbors experiencing homelessness. This month, our Christian Fellowship Class volunteered their time to set up and run the outreach. Thank you to everyone who helps make this ministry of compassion possible!

CONCORD CANDIDATES FORUM 2025

View a recording of the Concord Candidates Forum, hosted on September 24, 2025, at Central United Methodist Church. The forum was an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for the City of Concord, Mayor, and City Council.
