Welcome to the 2026 Missions Allocation Application! We are so excited you are interested in applying!

We welcome applications from any recognized 501(c)(3) organizations working within Cabarrus County and serving underserved communities.
This year, Central is implementing a new process for allocating the funds that come from legacy giving and congregational donations. While those who have applied before may find this process a bit lengthier than before, we are working intentionally to create a more equitable and impartial process, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
While the committee will ultimately determine how much is given away to each organization depending on the strength and amount of applications we receive, we encourage organizations to apply for funding ranges between $1,000-$5,000.

Important dates to note:

-
Tuesday, June 30 — All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Confirmation of receipt of application will be automatic. Applications must be successfully submitted by the deadline to be considered. We encourage you to submit early to allow time for any technical issues.
-
Friday, July 31 — if any applicant was asked for further information, it must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
-
Wednesday, September 30 — all applicants will receive notification of whether or not they received funding from the Missions Allocation Committee.

The committee will be looking specifically for organizations whose:

-
Values reflect our Christian values of compassion, justice, and service,
-
Impact will be directly increased because of the money being requested from Central, and
-
Services clearly meet a need in our county.

If you are a nonprofit serving Cabarrus County, we are looking forward to receiving your application! Please note that if an applicant is not a 501(c)(3) nor working in Cabarrus County, we will not consider the application.
