Dana Conner Richardson, a loving wife and mother, loyal friend and devoted disciple passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 after an extended battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at Central United Methodist Church, Coltrane Memorial Room, 30 Union Street N., Concord, NC. A service of celebration for the life of Dana will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the church. The family will also receive friends after the service.

Dana was born June 23, 1968 in Martinsville, VA. She was the Assistant Director of Habitat for Humanity of Cabarrus County. Dana graduated from Wake Forest University in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Brent Richardson and two daughters, Meredith, 16, and Lindsey, 14, of the home. She is also survived by her parents, David and Linda Conner of Collinsville, VA; one brother, Brian Conner and his wife Laura of Houston, TX . Additional surviving family members include 3 uncles, 2 aunts, 6 cousins, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Dana was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Earl and Gaynelle Stanley and paternal grandparents, Cline and Odelean Conner.
