yogaCentral is proud to offer two yoga classes and an exercise class during the week.  Both are free of charge and meet in the Coltrane or Youth rooms in the basement of the church.

Yoga at Central celebrated it’s five year anniversary this past March.  We offer two classes taught by Yogafit certified instructors.  Monday nights are taught by Shelley Henderson and Thursday nights are taught by Meg Irvin, both classes are at 6:30 in the church basement. 

 Yogafit is a yoga training program that blends of the ancient practice of yoga with a fitness format.  It is user friendly for people of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels.  Shelley and Meg are open to helping anyone in this congregation in their practice.  If you have special needs just show up a little early so that your needs can be accomadated.   

 Exercise class takes place on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am. The class is a combination of stretching, low impact aerobics, light weight lifting and balancing. There is no floor work. Weights, abdominal work and some stretching is done in a chair.
