For the past six years, the women of Central have taken time each fall to retreat with each other and find ways to become closer to God.This year we are doing things different.  We will have a day in town, but away from church where we pamper ourselves and reflect. This event will be held at the Historic Creamery Building at Church and Peachtree on September 17, 2011.  We are excited to be one of the first to use this newly renovated, historic space.

Our theme is Take Me Away, A Day Apart for the Women of Central. The day will be full of spa activities such as; manicures, massages and facials. Other activities will include a walk through downtown Concord, yoga, prayer room, journaling and knitting. Gina Guthrie will prepare a healthy lunch and teach us about healthy eating as she prepares! The day will end with a spiritual talk by Jill Muckler. For more information on any of the speakers or activities please see the bulletin board across from the nursery!

Central members and friends are welcome at our retreat. We simply ask that you register by August 22, so that the committee may plan services for each of you. Registration forms are on the Take Me Away bulletin board facing the nursery or on our website. The registration fee is $15, additional costs may be charged for manicure supplies.
