Meg Irvin is a native of Sanford, NC. She grew up attending St. Luke United Methodist Church. She is married to Concord native, Dale Irvin. Meg and Dale joined Central 5 years ago. Dale is the Manager and Marketing Director of the ReStore for Habitat for Humanity in Cabarrus County.  While Dale knew many people in the community Meg was new to the area. Both have found new friends through their involvement at Central. They have three children, David, 7, Blakely, 5 and Thomas, 2.  David is a first grader at Irvin Elementary.  Blakely attends CUMC Preschool. Meg has a degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from UNC-Charlotte. Her job at Central is ever evolving. She prepares the monthly newsletter and maintains the website.  Central purchased some wonderful video equipment to record sermons.  Meg organizes and trains volunteers to use this equipment and creates DVD’s for church members.  Meg’s hobbies include gardening, running and sewing.  She runs many local 5ks and other interesting races.  Moved by her experience with the yoga class at Central, Meg became a certified Yogafit instructor in the Spring of 2009. She teaches the Thursday night yoga class and an exercise class on Thursday mornings here at Central.
